Over one million foam baby seats sold by Target, Wal-Mart and other large retailers have been recalled due to reports of young children falling out of the seats according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The agency has received approximately 30 reports of young children falling out of seats; three of the children suffered skull fractures and because the seats had been placed atop tables.
The baby seats were manufactured by Bumbo International of South Africa and sold for about $40 each in the four years from August 2003 to October 2007.

Hi
Since when is simple stupidity a reason for a recall.
Why on earth would you allow your child to sit on one of these on top of a table
Its like walkers. They were banned because kids fell down stairs on them.
Well that is not the walkers fault. It is the parents for not supervising your kids and ensuring they are safe.
Same as this. Kids fall of things should we ban a chair because a child can fall of it.
Wake up and use your own commonsense.
I feel for parents that this has happened to but a little more watching your child would help
Luv Deb
We had a bumbo for our baby and it is a fantastic prodcut! In our country, It is printed on the chair, not to use it on a high surface. Why should the product be banned because people use it incorrectly?
