My 2008 Dyna Super Glide Custom is leaking fuel from the tank and bubbling the paint and there is nothing that can be done untill a new tank they ordered for me comes in in 12 weeks which I will most likely get stuck paying for because Seaford Harley hasent gotten notice of a recall on this bike and mine is the 4th one taken back there for the same problem.Gee im glade it dident burst into flames as i rode.
Be carefull … mine is totally burned out after a leak and harley said that i have to prove it … He was 1 year old.
my 2009 Dyna fuel take gas caps ( replaced with a locking cap ( $50 ) to see if it would stop still leaks , i fill take 1/2 way now toi keep gas off bike and me while riding, Harley dealer will not even look to see if fuel tank maybe bad at the cap,
I have same problem on 2009 dyna fxdc .If I push down hard on lid when tighten and click it a few times while still pushing it down it will not leak, But if you tighten it like you should and click it 10 times it still leaks. You must push down hard if you don’t need a gas ass.
